The Hirsh campaign is
proud to announce the start of our campaign blog. Here, campaign staff, friends, and Judy
herself will post about our progress and the active role that we are playing in
the community. We will post about issues
affecting Central Pennsylvania. We hope
that you will follow our blog and become part of our online community.
Today, we’re thrilled that our campaign is off to a great start. Last Sunday, over 100 people attended Judy’s General Election Campaign Kick-Off Event at the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 520 in Harrisburg. The great attendance of this event shows that we are building a movement to take on Jeff Piccola and the status quo in state government.
After our strong victory of 64% of the vote in a competitive primary, our campaign is already receiving a lot of attention. With a featured article in Capitolwire, the media is starting to pick up on what we already know…this race is one of the best chances for a Democratic seat pick-up in the State Senate.
But this race is not just about getting another Democratic seat. Our campaign is about change in our community. It is about time that we had a State Senator who truly understands our problems and is not tied to partisan, failed politics of the past. We hope that you will join us in this community-driven campaign.
